Meri Pathshala

Transforming Education, Empowering Futures

Meri Pathshala, ODSER Charitable Trust’s flagship education initiative, partners with government and low-income schools to ensure every child learns, grows, and thrives. Using existing school spaces, it delivers seven high-impact programs that holistically strengthen children, youth, teachers, and communities.

The Core Learning Program builds foundational literacy and numeracy, ensuring grade-level competency. The Second Chance Program helps school dropouts—especially girls—complete their education through open boards. Digital Futures bridges the digital divide by teaching computer skills, coding, and online safety. The English & Confidence Program enhances communication, fluency, and expression.

Through Career Awareness & Life Skills, adolescents gain real exposure to industries, goal-setting, and soft skills. Parent & Community Engagement builds home-based learning support and fosters collective accountability. The Teacher Development Program empowers educators with child-centric pedagogy and digital teaching methods.

Together, these programs create a vibrant, equitable education ecosystem — improving learning outcomes, confidence, and employability while reducing dropouts. Meri Pathshala stands as a model of sustainable, community-driven transformation that not only strengthens schools but uplifts entire families, making quality education a shared reality for every child.

SHE Matters

SHE – Safety, Health & Empowerment

SHE is ODSER Charitable Trust’s flagship safety and gender awareness program, created to build a world where every woman and child feels safe, respected, and empowered. It addresses the often-unspoken fears that shape how women and children move, learn, and work — transforming safety from a privilege into a shared responsibility.

Rooted in education and empathy, SHE operates through five pillars:

  1. Safety Awareness & Prevention Education – age-appropriate workshops for children, adolescents, parents, and teachers on personal safety, consent, and digital behavior.
  2. Gender Sensitisation & Responsible Behaviour – programs for youth and adults to challenge stereotypes, promote respect, and encourage healthy masculinity.
  3. POSH Awareness & Compliance – legal and practical training for workplaces to ensure dignity and compliance under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Act.
  4. Institutional Capacity Building – creating robust reporting, redressal, and child protection systems.
  5. Community Culture & Collective Responsibility – mobilizing parents, educators, and communities to act collectively against harm.

Since 2014, SHE has reached 3,500+ individuals, sensitized 2,000+ students, trained 500+ professionals, and partnered with 40+ institutions, building safer schools, campuses, and workplaces.
SHE transforms awareness into everyday action — making safety not just a rule, but a culture.

Bandhini

Bandhini – Where Women Stitch Possibility into Their Lives

Bandhini is ODSER Charitable Trust’s flagship livelihood and women’s empowerment program, designed to help women from low-income and farming communities achieve financial independence without leaving their homes. Rooted in dignity and practicality, Bandhini brings skill training, financial literacy, and income opportunities directly into communities, eliminating barriers of travel, cost, and safety.

Through training in stitching, tailoring, fabric crafts, entrepreneurship, and digital literacy, women gain employable skills and confidence. They form Self-Help Groups (SHGs) that promote savings, credit access, and collective enterprise, building both economic and emotional strength. Bandhini also facilitates market linkages, connecting women to schools, corporates, community fairs, and festivals to showcase and sell their products.

Over the years, Bandhini has trained 550+ women, created 20–30 micro-enterprises, and strengthened 30+ SHGs, leading to a 25%–80% rise in household income. The program operates on a zero-infrastructure model, using existing community spaces to ensure scalability and cost-effectiveness.

Bandhini’s impact goes beyond livelihood—it restores identity, confidence, and dignity. Every woman who learns and earns becomes a pillar of stability for her family and a catalyst for community transformation, proving that when a woman leads, an entire village rises.
