Why I Want to Join the She Matters Peace Walk
I want to join the She Matters Peace Walk because I feel girls and women should feel safe everywhere they go. In school we learn to respect everyone, but outside I sometimes see boys teasing girls or saying things that are not good. It makes me feel
uncomfortable, and I do not want to be someone who stays quiet.
I want to walk to show that boys also care about safety. It is not only a girl’s problem. We must stand with them and help make the world better. When we walk together, people on the road will see that students want change too.
Even if I am young, I can still do something small that is right. I want my sister to feel safe. I want all girls to feel safe.
That is why I will join the peace walk.
